Built on the wisdom of generations, Shareholder Wynne Reece founded The Creative’s Counsel in 2015 with her father, Jim Reece, who had a prior career of his own handling national and international cases, some of which involved nine figures and priceless important matters. Jim has since retired (as of 2022). You can read about their history here, but in short, Wynne grew up immersed in and inspired by both her father’s career in law and her mother’s career in music. Wynne worked at a luxury floral design business during college and planned events for six years before starting a luxury boutique event planning company of her own, which she sold in 2016. While she loves planning, her true joy is providing legal help for creatives so that they can pursue their passions. Together, Jim and Wynne spent nearly a decade building the practice as it is known today. In its next iteration, it will be part of Bassford Remele, a leading business and litigation law firm in Minnesota, with an equally experienced and dedicated team of attorneys and legal professionals.
